Breast pump

Breast pump is another important gadget for breastfeeding mummies,especially working mothers.Working mothers need to pump to make milk stock for their babies.If I am not mistaken every 2 or 3 hours to ensure their milk supplies does not drop down, and the baby get enough milk everyday at their carers.Even for stay at home mummies like me,pump is needed during the first week to relieve breast engorgement which i have to say very painful indeed.It is also important in case you have to go somewhere where babies is not allowed and you have to left your baby at home.Pumping is a great way to solve the problem.Your baby happy,n you are too!Always get a breast pump specialized in breast pumping manufacturer rather than buying ones from formula milk companies.I used pureen brand before but it was battery consuming.I used Avent manual pump ( like the picture) then n very satisfied with it,although I did not use it very frequently.Other manufacturer i know are medela n tommy tippee.

 

Sling

I would recommend mothers to try carrying their baby in a sling. It is easy n comfortable for both mother n baby.If used correctly,you can even breastfeed your baby while the baby is in the sling!I prefer ring to pouch sling. No need to get busy with the rings.Just make sure you get the right size,if u are buying the pouch type.( like shown in the picture ) My baby loved to be carried around in sling.She sleeps in it,window shop in it.I think she loved it so much because she knows I am near,eventhough she is a completely new environment to her.My baby is nearly 8 months,n I still carry her in her sling sometimes.Such a useful item.
